Manchester United have been told by  Tottenham to
forget about the idea of signing Harry Kane this summer.
This is according to the Guardian, who reveal that Tottenham’s stance has not changed after chairman Daniel Levy initially met with United’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward in May.
United are considering making a formal offer for Kane, 22, but are acutely aware their chances of signing the England international before the transfer window closes on September 1 are slim at best.
